Pada kolom review, para pemain mengeluhkan event ulang tahun Genshin Impact yang menggunakan sistem perolehan hadiah berdasarkan gacha.

"This game is great. It touches all of the tings that uou can enjoy in a free game. But it all ends from that. The gacha is awful, rewards per play is awful, and more importantly if you play this game for a period of a time (like 1 year) they will give you an anniversary rewards in a form of gacha. Yes, they will thank you for playing the game and spending in the game by giving you rewards that you have to work for an be lucky while you're at it. The anniversary is trash."
